Why are green bell peppers in everything as opposed to red peppers? Apparently they are the same thing (I just learned) but the green ones are not yet ripe AND once they turn red have a ton more vitamins and good stuff. So why does every sandwich shop/pizza place/restaurant in America use green peppers almost exclusively?
